If plain water isn't your thing — you're not alone. Here are ways to make hydration easier and tastier.
🍋
Lemon or Lime Squeeze
The most recommended option for fibromyalgia. A squeeze of citrus boosts flavor and alkalinity. Keep lemons cut and ready in the fridge.
🍓
Fruit-Infused Water
Strawberry-mint, cucumber-basil, orange-ginger. Drop fruit into a pitcher overnight. No calories, maximum flavor variety.

Try It Very Cold
Temperature changes palatability dramatically for many people. Try water ice cold with lots of ice — it often tastes completely different.

Herbal Tea (Non-Caffeinated)
Counts fully toward your daily goal. Peppermint, chamomile, hibiscus — warm or iced. Unlike regular tea, herbal tea is not a diuretic.
Electrolyte Powder or Tablet
Especially magnesium-containing options. Addresses electrolyte deficiencies common in fibromyalgia and helps with muscle cramps.

Water-Rich Foods
Watermelon, cucumber, oranges, soups, and smoothies all count. Eating your water is a valid strategy on days when drinking feels hard.
Caffeine Note
Coffee and regular tea are mild diuretics — for every caffeinated drink, try to add an extra half-glass of water to compensate.
